Whisky Cocktails
Last Saturday I spent the evening with the boyfriend and we went out for Thai food and cocktails at Chaoyophraya. I opted for a tailored look and went for an outfit I hadn’t worn before; Choosing, tailored trousers, a sleeveless shirt and a pair of black, gold studded heels. The only thing my outfit was missing was a black blazer, which is something I really need to invest in!
I put on my favourite Illamasqua lipstick (shade Growl) and I was good to go.What I wore:

Not My Boyfriend’s Jeans
For someone who never used to wear jeans, you could say I’ve gone a little jean crazy as of late. For a long time it was strictly skirts and dresses for me but now I’m beginning to embrace the casual look and love wearing jeans.
I’ve been buying lots of skinny jeans so it was an unlikely choice for me to opt for a pair of boyfriend jeans, but when I spotted these in Zara I was curious as to how they’d look on. When I tried them on I surprised myself and actually really liked them and as they were like nothing else I already owned I decided to add them to my wardrobe. I’ve had them since June now and worn them twice. They aren’t my go to jeans but I think they are great for when I’m in the mood for a slouchy casual look but still want to look stylish at the same time.
Last night I went out for a meal at my favourite Indian restaurant with Damien. Because I knew I’d be overindulging on some of my favourite dishes, I was bound to feel bloated after it, so this seemed like the perfect outfit to opt for.
What I wore:
Boyfriend Jeans – Zara / T-shirt – H&M / Heels – Urban Outfitters / Necklace – EBay

Lavish Alice Sample Sale
On Friday daytime I met up with LBD and we went to the Lavish Alice Sample Sale. I picked up a few items, including a tropical print blazer which I’d had my eye on ever since I saw LBD in it when she modelled their S/S 13 collection. I also got the shorts to match the blazer (it would have been rude not to). The shorts are a little big as they didn’t have my size left but as LBD suggested, I can take them up on my sewing machine to fit me perfectly. The 3rd item I got was a white jumper with snake skin print sleeves. Somehow I managed to try the jumper on in the roasting heat and although I was melting inside it looked great on! That will be an item that won’t be coming out of my wardrobe until the weather cools a bit though.

Summertime Sunday
Last Sunday was another scorcher of a day. I went for food and cocktails with friends and thought it would be the perfect day to wear my funky print LuLu & Red dress. I’ve had this two piece dress and jacket for quite a while but rarely get chance to wear it. Originally the dress was much longer but I took it up on my sewing machine not long after buying it. I now regret doing that a little, as I now prefer my skirt lengths longer and as you can see on the photos this dress is very short! Nevertheless, I still love this dress and the print has cocktail recipes on it, how appropriate. It was a really hot day again last Sunday, when I wore this dress but it got a little breezy later on, so I was able to wear my little matching jacket too.
What I wore:
Dress & matching jacket – LuLu & Red / Boots – Urban Outfitters / Bag – Zara / Hair bow – leftover fabric / Hoop earrings – H&M
